            V.I.P Vallejo Company Dancer
            Video 1 | Video 2

Matthew Day, of V.I.P Vallejo (formerly of Tripl3 Threat) is a 20 year old dancer turned artist. From learning street dances and performing locally to catching spots on BET’s 106 & Park and Spring Bling, this young talent has only touched on his career and has a long way to go. Everything from local TV and newspaper articles, Matt has given to all areas of his community. Matt has performed in such shows as the NBA all-star weekend in Vegas, Wild 94.9 concerts, ABDC tours (where they placed 1st in a competition), The Movement (Nor-Cal Krump evolution), as well as fund raisers, and private parties. Matt has also back-up danced for artists Selau and Donny from Making The Band.

Aside from performing, Matt has Co-Directed Bliss Dance Company (a 10 division dance family with over 120 members) for two years. Matt travels from city to city to teach master classes and private lessons for other dance companies.

His belief system which he has named MeDa4 ( metaphor ) was created as Matt says “I am a metaphor for dance.” His symbolism in the stories he creates on stage speaks for itself. Matt says “Dance took me from a place of confusion and destruction to a road of success and determination and showed me that with what I’ve gone thru in my life I can inspire others who don’t know how to try. Gave me a reason to look to the future cause a man that lives in the past doesn’t live at all.” Matt is in this for the real art of it, not the fame or commercialization of it all. Matt feels dance is the most powerful thing on earth and can be what changes peoples emotional state as well as give hope to others.
